SOLUTION
Almost all of the athletes agreed that San Jacinto would be a great solution. It is right next to Jester (so ¡°everything¡± would be still pretty close), the rooms are bigger (there is a huge shelf in the hall for clothes and shoes) and have their own bathrooms. It means San Jacinto would solve athletes¡¯ main problem, the bad conditions of the campus dorm and so much less of them would decide to leave campus. If the majority of athletes stay on campus the amount of those students who are not eligible would be much less. If the university¡¯s main purpose is to fight with the best players for national championships they should consider this rule again.
The only problem with San Jacinto is that the athletic department does not allow male athletes to live there. I have even asked some of the coaches if they know the purpose of this strict rule but none of them knew the exact answer. It is obvious that there is a need for this permission, and both the university and also the athletes would come out good of this change. Sophomore, junior and even senior athletes would get the chance to visit study halls regularly and keep their grades on a high level.
It is clear that the better the teams perform, the bigger honor does the university partake.
