Problem
What's wrong?
With a rattling sound, a sheet of brown paper towel is coming out of a dispenser. It absorbs water, dries your hands and ends up being thrown away into a dustbin. This paper towel, like other paper products, is born from a tree. Please picture a sylvan scene which is being devastated, cut down just for wiping your hands. Indeed, what a miserable end of trees!
Everyday, every dustbin in every bathroom on campus is overflowing with brown paper towels. A mammoth university like UT consumes immeasurable brown paper towels and gives devastating effects to the environment. Can you still keep yanking poor brown paper out, even though that deed is a process of deforestation?
