Alright so here is the first draft of our paper. We followed the format of the sample paper in class, except we left out the summary and incorpoorated that into the cover page. I think our proposal is very feasible. We are not asking to completely stop increasing tuition, just to lessen the impact of increasing tuition. Unfortunately we are missing the interview. That is my fault and I will have it after I meet with Dr. Vick at 2 on Monday. However I am not quite sure how to incorporate it into the paper, we'll have to see after the interview. See ya'll Monday.

So, this is part of the paper. Tao we just need you to do the cover page which is kind of a summary look at the sample paper for an example if you need to. Also, the problem statement. Otherwise, I think our pape looks good, except for the interviewm which I will get on Monday right after class. Also, I did not realize how convoluted this topic is. I attended the forum on tuition on Nov. 19, and asked a question to the committee, that helped a little. But I was uninformed when I went. So I have read part of the proposal for tuition next year(it is 44 pages so I read the first part that summarizes it pretty well), and a rebuttal of an argument against it and I understand a lot better the way funds work in the University.

final draft of paper 3

So again, I put in a lot of effort. I truncated the ending of my first draft because it was completel unnecessary. I also made all the revisions that were recommended and checked for others and reworded somethings. I really aimed to be persuasive but I may have ben a little too mechanical. Since the paper was on Los Alamos (which I have gotten very used to typing), it was a little technical. I hope it is not too technical. But I feel the paper will provide good start on informing anyone who reads it on Los Alamos. Now my group need to decide what we will research and begin the fourth paper, which if good enough and depending on the topic I might actually try to use, i.e. sed it the person or group who could do something about it.

I am feeling a little good about myself, and a little tired. I became more informed about a subject that i have been meaning to, Los Alamos. And it really is important to be because we are paying for UT looking into it and will be paying to run it. But that aside Los Alamos is an amazing place for physics research which i am in strong support of since i am math and the two are symbiotic. But i really feel that Los Alamos would make UT a more prominent university, it is really well ranked in the natural sciences and engineering, not sure about liberal art, but i expect they are at least decent... I put a lof of work into this and i hope that people will readi it and carefully consider it. I also enjoyed doing it once i figured out how to piece it together, thank you professor. And a note to everyone:
Be well informed!
