It can be argued that we each in varying degrees play different roles or have different identities in our actual lives (e.g. son, daughter, teacher, student, etc.). But what is Turkle talking about that is different in terms of being other people or playing roles? What do you make of her reference to Carl Jung?

Determine what Rheingold is describing when he speaks of swarm intelligence and the social mind. After reading Rheingold, do you see that you have been involved in some form or other in "swarming"?
