New Lame Sound!
The Lame encoded MP3 is very luring. I for one accepted the lack of quality so that I may enjoy music more often and with easier access and mobility. I understood the words and caught the beat and I was happy with that, but after listening to the difference between Lame encoded music and that of AAC or just MP3 files alone, I don’t know how long it would be until I appreciated the quality of the older versions if ever.
Lame is just crisper and frees your mind of distractions or hublah. Yes I made up that word because it is the best way I can describe that which I do not desire to accompany my tracks. Clearer is better. I bought an MP3 from apple last year and use it a lot but with the discovery of Lame I hope to use my MP3 player to the fullest. I am happy that these engineers took the tests so seriously so that I can enjoy my music the way it should be enjoyed.
There are many people who rather here an authentic CD or even a old school record because they feel anything “less” would be compromising the quality. I am not going to argue because to a certain degree they may be right. If you are right, you’re right! I on the other hand do not find the difference to be significant nor worthy of not taking advantage of the free music with sharing and mobility options that are on the internet. Lame has only strengthened my opinion on this matter and I am thankful for the new, higher standard, quality of sound I will be enjoying on my MP3 player.
