"I'm 20, I come from France. I'm an exchange student, which means that I've only been in the US since September, and will go back to France at the end of May.
I'm a political sociology major in France, and I am taking philosophy, sociology and psychology classes at UT. I like conceptual approaches of the world, and debating about theories. I'm especially interested in sociology of education. I plan on doing comparative studies on American and European education systems.
Aside from my studies, mainly in fact, I enjoy playing guitar, rollerblading, skateboarding, playing soccer, basketball, any kind of sport that involves a ball, spending nights dancing or talking with my closest friends."

"I am from Taipei, Taiwan. I grew up in Taiwan, and then moved to the US in the 9th grade. I studied in Memorial Hall School in Houston for one year, and then I went to Cushing Academy in Ashburnham, Massachusetts, for the last three years. Because some of my family is in Houston, I decide to come to University of Texas at Austin to continue my education.
It is my first year in college, and I am majoring in Electrical Engineering. Although I am quiet in public, I would like to know everyone in class and wish we will have a wonderful semester together."

"I was borned in the US, and I went back to Taiwan when I was around two years old. Most of the education that I received was in Taiwan, and that makes me a non-native speaker. H
owever, I returned to United States several times for both travel and school. I was born in Urbana, which is a small town in Illinois; and therefore, when I had a chance to return to the US for education in 3rd grade and 10th grade, that's where I went.
I do have many hobbies, but I enjoy playing computer games and watching movies most. I think they are the only two ways for my brain to relax. Sports? I am not that into sports anymore; however, I used to play soccer and tennis. I was the left wing defender back in high school."
