While a resume is nice to have, more and more often potential employers are asking for portfolios that highlight your work and your abilities. As a result, we will be creating portfolios with a professional look and feel - ones you would feel confident asking a potential employer to see. For the purposes of this course, you will be asked to include almost all of the original web and graphic design work you create (do not include Photoshop lessons work). If you choose the option to create a portfolio of other work -- photos, artwork, etc. -- you are welcome to do that.
When adding a project to your portfolio, please include sufficient information about it and about what skills you are showcasing with that project, such as:
- Date it was created
- Project Description
- Your role
- Project Objectives
- Applications used
- etc.
