This is a large group project using PHP and MySQL. The public site combines static content with some dynamic features such as news. The intranet accompanying the site constitutes a cross between projectware and a content management system. Its features include:

  • announcements online and by email,
  • events with optional email invitations,
  • tasks to be assigned to group members,
  • public news mangement tool,
  • document, image, and presentation management.

Computers & Writing

Administering Drupal gave me experience with customizing a modular application, monitoring users and their permissions, aggregating RSS feeds for dynamic reading assignments, and scheduling the public access to course content.
