Maintenance
Participating in the maintenance of websites has allowed me to develop an understanding of and experience in the following:
- accessibility standards for various media formats,
- usability concerns for layouts and design elements,
- CSS support across browsers,
- creation and customization of PHP-coded functionality,
- logical HTML page structures,
- folder structures that facilitate long-term maintenance.
Currently, I am performing maintenance for:
- Kresge Library
Collaborative, template-driven library website with both static and dynamic content.
Past maintenance responsibilities:
- FASTRAC
PHP-coded modular public site and a MySQL-driven intranet.
- Computer Research and Writing Lab
Drupal-based community site hosting public and private content.
